Indian scientists propose to create telemedicine and tele-education interactive centers

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - We have developed a project on the creation of interactive electronic network connecting Indian Institutes with resource centers of information and communication technologies in the five Central Asian countries, this has been announced by Abhinav Dixit, head of the International Cooperation Center for Development of Advanced Computing Technology under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of India during a meeting in Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University.

CIS countries such as Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have been invited to join the interactive electronic network within the project. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India appointed a Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) as manager - consultant of the project to install the software and electronic communications for a period of five years since network activation. The final technical solution and arguments to its support will be performed after the assessment of the existing infrastructure, buildings, and human resource requirements of the five CIS states belonging to the region of Central Asia, after CDAC experts study tour.
