Informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers held in Brussels

BRUSSELS. March 6. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ An informal meeting of the NATO?s foreign ministers was held yesterday in Brussels; Kazinform reports.

The participants discussed a wide range of issues, including Afghanistan situation, relations with Russia and preparation for the NATO jubilee summit, which will be held on April 3-4 in Strasbourg (France) and Kehl (Germany). NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer held bilateral meetings with foreign ministers and with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Later in the day sessions of Commissions NATO-Ukraine and NATO-Georgia were held at the level of foreign ministers.
