Information project about OSCE kicks off in Kazakhstan

ANA. August 18. KAZINFORM. /Arnur Rakhymbekov/ Republican Network of Independent Observers has announced about the start of the information project about the OSCE among Kazakhstan's population.

The project will be implemented in six cities - Astana, Almaty, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Aktobe and Petropavlovsk.

To raise public awareness of the organization, its purposes and structure special trainings and seminars for representatives of political parties, nongovernmental organizations, mass media and local authorities will be held. Press conferences devoted to the beginning and completion of the project will take place.

The project is realized with support of the British embassy in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010 is planned to promote further modernization of the political system, reformation of the socio-political life of our country.
