Initiative on early presidential elections received countrywide support - K. Tokayev
K. Tokayev noted willingness of Kazakhstan to develop dynamic and all-round cooperation with Hungary.
He also familiarized the Hungarian Minister with the legislative activity of the Parliament and informed him about the request of the Senate addressed to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to consider holding of early presidential elections in 2015.
K. Tokayev emphasized that the initiative of the Council of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan received countrywide support and positive reaction in the society.
Discussing the international agenda, the situation in Ukraine in particular, the interlocutors emphasized that under the conditions of mutual interdependence of the national economies introduction of the sanctions is a destructive measure. According to both sides, it is necessary to activate and strengthen the dialogue between the EU and Russia in order to solve all the issues and overcome misunderstanding. K. Tokayev also informed the Hungarian Minister about the active position of the Kazakh President in settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
K. Tokayev also told about the preparation for the 5 th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions scheduled for June 10-11, 2015. P. Szijjarto, in turn, highly praised the Kazakhstan model of interethnic and interreligious peace and accord.
