Innovations in law on government procurement aims to support real sector: discussion in Astana

ASTANA. January, 28. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Presentation of the KZ Law ?On amendments to the Law of RK ?On state procurement? has taken place today in the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, Kazinform reports.

As was noted, the amendments aimed to support the real sector, stimulation of domestic manufacturers and work and service providers as well as an increase of Kazakhstan's participation. Amendments concerning the planning of state procurement envisage covering of detailed plans for three year period on the web-portal of the state procurement. One of the key innovations is withdrawal of national holding companies, national companies and organizations and their affiliates from the areas of regulatory legislation on state procurement. As is known, the Law of RK ?On amendments to the Law of RK ?On state procurement? came into force from November 22, 2008.
