Innovative technologies lead to productivity in agriculture - Nazarbayev
ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Agricultural productivity must be raised through implementation of innovative technologies, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said in his speech at the festive concert in Astana dedicated to the 18th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence.

"Development of agrarian science must be always in spotlight. We need breakthrough innovative technologies like drop irrigation. South Kazakhstan oblast has already experienced growth of vegetable yield from 15 to 115 centners per year", the Head of the State said.
According to the President, construction of feeding complexes the country works on at present will lead us to such results. "Thus, it means we must raise productivity of the sphere. We must learn the world's experience in this sphere and implement it in our country since agriculture gains more and more importance worldwide", Nazarbayev highlighted.
