Institute for Demographic Research should be established in Kazakhstan - A. Smailov

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan should establish a specialized Institute for Demographic Studies, this has been stated by the Chairman of the Statistics Agency Alikhan Smailov at the Government Hour in the Majilis.

"I sent a proposal to the Prime Minister on the establishment of a specialized Institution for Demographic Research", said A. Smailov.

The head of the Agency noted that PM Serik Akhmetov instructed the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and the Agency for Statistics to consider the suggestion.
