Int'l Zhautykov Olympiad to gather 60 teams from 15 countries

ALMATY. KAZINFORM The XI International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science will be held on January 11-17 in Almaty.

It will bring together about 60 teams from 15 countries of the globe. The jury consists of scientists from 9 states, namely, Kazakhstan, Russia, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. The Olympiad is organized by the Daryn centre and the Zhautykov republican specialized physics and mathematics secondary boarding school for the gifted children under the aegis of the Education and Science Ministry of Kazakhstan with support of the Almaty akimat.
