Interethnic peace is important component of any state development, Haluk Ipek

ISTANBUL. February 22. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with Secretary-General of the ruling Justice and Development Party Haluk Ipek.

Key issues of bilateral cooperation, foreign initiatives of Kazakhstan and the President's Address Strategy "Kazakhstan-2050" were discussed a t the meeting.

The Turkish politician praised contest of the Address, which defines strategic priorities of the country till 2050, complex of measures on further strengthening of the state, defense and raising the well-being of the fraternal people.

H.Ipek voiced the need for objectivity and further development and deepening of the Kazakh-Turkish inter-parliamentary and inter-party relations. In this context, Ipek praised the visit of Bakhytzhan Sagintayev to Ankara in September 2012, who was the first deputy chairman of the People's Democratic Party "Nur Otan" at the time.

According to him the visit of the Majilis' Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin scheduled on May-June 2013 will contribute to inter-parliamentary cooperation.

In the course of conversation, touching upon the initiatives and actions of the Turkish government to fight terrorism, H.Ipek noted that ethnic peace, which terrorists and separatists are trying to break by all means, is an important component of any state.

"The experience of Kazakhstan's ethnic and inter-religious harmony is precious and should be a model for countries with a multiethnic and multi-religious society," the Turkish politician stressed.
