Intergovernmental Commission on Coop between Kazakhstan and Russia held session

ASTANA. November 28. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ 14th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia was held in Moscow on November 25-26, the Kazakh Embassy in Russia reported.

The Kazakh side was headed by Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev, the Russian - by Minister of Minister of Industry and Trade Victor Khristenko.

The process of realization of the Joint Action Plan of Kazakhstan and Russia for 200-2010, programs of economic, cross-border and humanitarian cooperation was discussed at the session. Results of the activity of the bilateral Kazakh-Russian sub-commissions on interregional and cross-border cooperation, interaction in the transport and military-technical spheres and Baikonur complex were summed up. Corresponding state bodies of the two states were charged to set about development of new programs in the field of economic, cross-border and humanitarian cooperation.

The sides agreed that the realization of achieved agreements would promote further deepening of strategic partnership between the two states.
