Interim Chairman of Kazatomprom JSC named

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - By the decision of the Board of Directors of NAC Kazatomprom JSC Aidar Arifkhanov has been appointed as the interim chairman, Kazinform has learnt from the company.

Born in 1974, Aidar Arifkhanov is a graduate of the Kazakh State Academy of Management. He also holds a Master's degree from Columbia University. Prior to the appointment, Mr. Arifkhanov served at the company as Deputy Chairman for Economy and Finance. Former Chairman of the Board of NAC Kazatomprom JSC Nurlan Kapparov died of cardiac arrest on March 26 in China. He was laid to rest on March 28 in Almaty city.
