International companies to train specialists for construction of gas and chemical complex

ASTANA. July 31. KAZINFORM The companies from China, Korea and Germany will be involved in preparation of specialists for construction of gas and chemical complex in Atyrau region, the press service of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan informs.

"The agreements on preparation of Kazakhstan's specialists were signed with CB&I Lummus, Currenta (Germany), SK Energy (Korea), Senopec Engineering (China) within the project on construction of the integrated gas and chemical complex in Atyrau region," the statement of the Ministry reads.

According to the information of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan, CB&I Lummus Technology Inc began making a program on preparation of specialists of three levels: technical personnel, facility operators, engineers with the terms of 2-4 years.

It should be noted that preparation of specialists for exploitation of gas and chemical productions will e conducted on the basis of four higher education institutions of the country - the Kazakh National Technical University named after K. Satpayev, the Kazakh-British Technical University, the Atyrau Institute of Oil and Gas and the SouthKazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov.

As earlier reported, Head of State N. Nazarbayev gave instructions in his Address to the Naiton "Social and economic modernization - main direction of development of Kazakhstan" to ensure driving up to the rated capacity of the Atyrau gas and chemical complex. Planning of the main refinery engineering units and on-site utilities is 78% complete within the 1st stage of the construction. Planning of infrastructure utilities is at the stage of completion.
