International defense exhibition in Abu-Dhabi

ASTANA. February 24. KAZINFORM Kazakh military delegation headed by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, First Deputy Minister of Defense, General of the Army Mukhtar Altynbayev is visiting an international exhibition of defense industry ?IDEX 2009? on February, 22-25; Kazinform refers to the Ministry?s press-office.

The ?IDEX 2009? is the largest exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa devoted to the defense technologies on land, sea and air. Demonstration firing of different types of weapons is held at the ?IDEX 2009? exhibition. Over 20 companies from 10 countries take part in the exhibition. Over 29 demonstrations of military equipment from 10 countries will take place on the range route. The conference on the issues of state security and defense will be held as a results of the international exhibition.
