Iran has nothing to do with Oct 7 attack - Ali Akbar Jokar

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazakhstan is holding a briefing for mass media to clarify to the country’s stance on the Israeli-HAMAS conflict, Kazinform News Agency reports.

As Ambassador of Iran to Kazakhstan Ali Akbar Jokar says, Iran has nothing to do with the October 7 attack.

“Iran or any other country have nothing to do with the relations in this region. What is there is the fight of one nation against another. As you know from mass media, the US, their intelligence service also informed that Iran has no connection to the attack which occurred on Saturday, October 7. As you know, Iran has always said it backs the resistance movement in this region,” the Iranian Ambassador said.

“If you put aside Iran’s position, you may see that this regime [Israel - edit] does not abide either by the position of Europe or the US, or even the position announced by Kazakhstan and Central Asia, it does not fulfill anything. Therefore,as you see, the nation being under oppression always responds,” he added.
