"A delegation of the IAEA will arrive in Tehran on Wednesday," Ramin Mehmanparast said, expressing hope that both sides would reach a deal to recognize the country's nuclear rights.

"We are also ready to allay concerns they (the IAEA) may have and remove certain ambiguities," Mehmanparast was quoted as saying, according to Xinhua.

The spokesman pointed out that recognizing the Islamic republic 's rights and putting an end to pressurizing the country would be the best solution.

Iran and the IAEA held a meeting in December 2012 over the remaining issues of Iran's nuclear activities. Both sides announced progress in their talks toward an agreement that the IAEA believes would allow it to resume inquiry into the nuclear facilities in Iran.

The IAEA said that it looked forward to finalizing the framework in the new round of discussions in Tehran on Jan. 16 and starting implementing it soon.
