Iran stands ready to support Palestinian refugees – ambassador

 Iran is ready to support Palestinian refugees, Iranian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ali Akbar Jokar said Friday, Kazinform News Agency reports. 

Speaking at the press briefing in the Kazakh capital, the Iranian diplomat emphasized that his country stands ready to support the Palestinian refugees and provide them with humanitarian aid.

However, according to him, the people of Palestine insist they are staying on their land and will fight till the end.

In his words, no one has left the territory as a refugee.

“They haven’t left for Egypt and Jordan. The position of the Gaza Strip inhabitants is understandable. They declare they will remain firm in the decision and will show resistance,” the Iranian diplomat added.
