ISESCO to hold meeting in Conakry on education quality

RABATY. April 20. KAZINFORM The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will hold a sub-regional meeting on "The Role of Pre-school Education and Family Literacy in Improving the Quality of Education", from 23 to 26 April 2012, in Conakry, Guinea.

This meeting aims to promote the benefits of family literacy and its role in helping educational staff to achieve quality education for all. Also, it will feature the successful experiences of the Member States in integrating elementary education, literacy and family literacy based on a comprehensive educational perspective, the ISESCO press release reads.

The meeting will bring together 15 educational officials from the following Member States: Burkina Faso, Cфte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Niger and Senegal.

ISESCO will be represented in this meeting by Ms Mariama Ndiaye Niang, programmes specialist at the Education Directorate.
