Iskander Aissariyev named Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Albania

By a decree of the President of Kazakhstan, Iskander Aisariyev has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Albania, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.

By another presidential decree, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Türkiye Yerkebulan Sapiyev has been relieved of his duties of the Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Albania.

Iskander Aisariyev was born March 28, 1976, in Almaty. In 1988, he graduated from Almaty-based Abai State University and in 2002, he got a diploma from the Almaty University of Lifelong Education.

He has been in diplomatic service since 1999.

From 2002 to 2004, he was an attaché, Third and Second Secretary of the Department of Central Asia and Transcaucasia of the Kazakh MFA Committee on CIS Affairs.

In 2004-2005, he was Second Secretary of the Department for Asia and Africa at the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, and from 2005 to 2009 he was Third and Second Secretary of the Kazakh Embassy in Turkmenistan.

From 2009 to 2011, he was advisor and then chief of the State Protocol Service at the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From 2011 to 2013, he was advisor at the Kazakh Embassy in Ukraine.

In 2015, he was appointed Deputy Chief and in 2019 he was named Chief of the State Protocol Service of the Kazakh MFA.

Since April 2023, he was Ambassador-at-large of the Kazakh MFA.
