Istanbul hosts Kazakh-Turkish business forum

ALMATY.  October 23. KAZINFORM A Kazakh-Turkish business forum is being held in Istanbul at present within the official visit of the Kazakh President to Turkey. According to the organizers - Atameken Union National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan  and Kazakhstan Association of Entrepreneurs, the event brought together representatives of two countries' state bodies and business. The forum aims at creation of a platform for the Kazakh, Turkish business circles in establishing contacts and discussing most urgent issues of cooperation in various spheres.

Over 100 Kazakh businessmen from Astana, Almaty cities, Akmola, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Almaty, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, North Kazakhstan and South Kazakhstan oblasts are participating in it. They are expected meet with their Turkish counterparts involved in construction sector, real estate sector, providing medical and legal services, production of electric devices, automotive parts, tourism, light and food industry, oil and gas sector, agriculture and others.

A number of bilateral agreements will be signed following the forum. In particular, Meat Production and Service LLP and Ankara Ofis Yem gida ve mak.San.Tic.a.s. will enter into agreement on launch of a new model of modern stockbreeding complex. NovTekhStroi LLP and Asia Insaat will agree on construction of a plant on crushed stone production. The investments in the project will make USD 10 mln. Besides, Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Export-Import Bank of Turkey will enter into a memorandum of joint implementation of an in investment project in Kazakhstan between the DBK and Turgut Reis Gemi Tersane Seramik Isletmeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirket.
