It is necessary to stop killing children in Gaza - K.Tokayev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Chairman of the Senate Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has expressed his personal opinion on Twitter account noting that it was necessary to immediately stop the mass killing of children in Gaza.

Earlier media reported the killings of hundreds of children by Israel in the Gaza Strip.

"During the current Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip more people were killed than during the two previous armed conflicts. The dead included 277 boys and 170 girls aged from 10 days to 17 years. Total 2,877 children were injured", the press-secretary of the UNICEF Christopher Tidey informed.
