Italy becomes closer: the first Astana-Milan route launched
The Astana International Airport welcomed today, July 13, the first flight operated by Italy’s NEOS air carrier to connect Milan and Astana, Kaiznform News Agency reports.
The flights will be performed twice a week by Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The direct air service is projected to boost trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian ties, and tourism. cooperation between Kazakhstan and NEOS will benefit the development of the country’s civil aviation and transport and logistics sectors.
NEOS is a joint venture between two tourism companies, the Italian Alpitour S.p.A. and the German TUI Group. As one of the largest private air carriers of Italy, NEOS flies to over 70 destinations.
