ASTANA. August 20. KAZINFORM On August 17 Cultural Attaché Katherine Kaetzer-Hodson congratulated 8 IVLP Alumni with the successful completion of their professional exchange programs in the United States. In her opening remarks, Katherine encouraged alumni to participate in the Alumni Outreach programs and activities facilitated by the U.S. Embassy and Alumni Associations across the country.

This year's IVLP participants went on programs focused on such themes as American Library; Anti Trafficking in Persons; Monitoring and Evaluation; Promoting the small business sector; Technology Commercialization in the U.S.; The Anti-money Laundering Curriculum at the U.S. Universities and Law-Enforcement Academies; Transparency in Government; Waste Management Practices in the United States and Women and Entrepreneurship, the press service of the US Diplomatic Mission reports.

These IVLP programs are designed not only to give the participants insights into American culture and society, but also to contribute to enhance understanding by Americans of Kazakhstani society, culture, and institutions.

Alumni shared their experience during the exchange program and told about ideas they got and will introduce in their work. One of the coming success stories is launch of the new couture collection as the result of the participation in Women Entrepreneurship program by an IVLP alumna.
