IX Int'l Zhautykov Olympiad to take place in Almaty

ALMATY. January 10. KAZINFORM On January 14-18, the IX International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science will be held under the aegis of the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science and Almaty Akimat in the city of Almaty.

The competition will gather 50 teams or about 350 participants from Kazakhstan, Russia, Romania, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Bulgaria, Indonesia, and Mongolia. The jury will consist of scientists from seven countries.

The event is organized by "Daryn" Republican Scientific Center and Zhautykov Republican Specialized Physics and Mathematics Secondary Boarding School.
