“Jamal” oriental arts gallery opens in Almaty

ALMATY. May 2. KAZINFORM New "Jamal" oriental arts gallery will open its doors in Almaty. The official presentation of the gallery is due to take place tomorrow.

The event will be held within "The Year of Culture in Almaty" campaign with support of Almaty and Medeu district administrations.

 "Jamal" is the first authors oriental gallery in the CIS member countries which showcases the rarest artifacts, such as ancient books, musical instruments, and household items. The guests of the gallery may see works of the following prominent artists Ivan Aivazovsky, Thomas Zummer, Aytbayev, Kasteyev, Issabayev, etc.
