Japan donates equipment at KZT 31 mln for Akmola region hospital

AKMOLA REGION. July 24. KAZINFORM - The Japanese Government has approved the grant assistance for the district hospital in Akmola region. Yesil central hospital will receive new medical equipment under the "Grass Roots" program, as the press service of the Akim informs.

Both presented projects - improving medical equipment and strengthening the material-technical base of medical institutions - will be financed to the amount of more than KZT 31 million (tenge).

"Grass Roots" grant aid program has been realized in Kazakhstan since 1997. It is aimed at supporting small-scale social projects implemented by non-profit organizations and provides direct assistance to the socio-economic development of the common population. In addition, the main target of the program is to ensure the safety of the population.

" Arrival of new medical equipment from the Land of the Rising Sun is expected in August or September the current year. This is a coagulometer for biochemical analysis of blood , KFK-5 photometer, a dental surgery, ENT-work station, daily ECG monitoring device, A/D for the therapy department, and functional transformer-bed for maternity ward", reads the statement.

According to the experts, thesemedical facilities will significantly improve the quality of medical services in the district.
