Japan hopes for big supplies of Kazakhstan's uranium

ASTANA. March 17. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Japan hopes for big supplies of uranium from Kazakhstan. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Kazakhstan Yuzo Harada has said it today at the briefing in Astana.

'There have been no supplies of uranium to Japan so far. Certainly, there will be plenty of them in future. We really hope for it,' the Ambassador said.

According to him, the disaster that hit the country will not affect the cooperation in this sphere.
