Japan's NYK Group to open logistics centre in Astana
ASTANA. KAZINFORM The world's leading transportation and shipping company, NYK Group of Japan, plans to build a logistics centre in Astana, Kaznex Invest said.

Kaznex Invest national export and investments agency helps the investor to start a project worth USD 5 mln. Besides, the company explores opportunities to arrange transportation of passenger cars through the Khorgos-Eastern Gates free economic zone. NYK Group has already invested into a car terminal buying 100% shares of Tranko-Terminal LTD, the largest terminal and logistics operator. The new centre, NYK AutoLogistics (Kazakhstan), is purposed to process cars for delivery to dealerships. NYK Group is the key provider of logistics services for Toyota Motors Kazakhstan, Mitsubishi Motor Kazakhstan and Suzuki Motor RUS. NYK Group is the largest Japanese transportation company that enters the top 20 of 4PL operators.
