Japanese experience of medical laboratory service discussed in Almaty

ALMATY. March 13. KAZINFORM - Today in Almaty there has been the international scientific-practical conference titled "Kazakhstan-Japan: experience and prospects of medical service development."

The conference participants, including the Managing Director of a major Japanese «SRL» medical laboratory Yohji Khirabaeshi presented the business model of creating a modern Japanese laboratory.

Besides, the participants shared their experience in applying new methods of diagnosis and analysis, described the prospects of implementing the experience gained by the Kazakh partners.

"It is the Japanese know-how of the laboratory service that is recognized worldwide as the most advanced and progressive. The event with our Japanese partners will reveal many aspects, both in terms of business, and from the point of view of the professional medical services, " said General Director of INVIVO Network Nurbek Toichubaev.
He also noted that at the present «SRL» is consulting INVIVO on optimizing business processes.

The report has been made on the development strategies of Laboratory Medicine by Kazakhstan Vice-President of the Kazakhstan Association of Medical Laboratory Diagnostics Sholpan Beisembaeva.

Special attention is given to the "experience of investing in the evolution of laboratory services," presented by the chairman of the Board of "Kazyna Capital Management" JSC (KCM) Borisbiy Zhangurazov.

It should be reccaled that in 2011 the fund with KCM, i.e. Kazakhstan Growth Fund, has invested in INVIVO network to further development. During the cooperation with the Kazakh fund the laboratory network increased its presence to 110 collection points in the remote regions. 14 satellite laboratories have been opened, and a laboratory tank in Shymkent as well, one laboratory is being constructed in Astana. Also purchased is the robotic station with automated DNA extraction step.
