Japanese Spring festival of arts to be held in Astana March 1-3

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Twice a year Humanitarian Fund "Degdar" and JTI Company hold seasons of Japanese culture - festivals called "Japanese Spring" and "Japanese Autumn".

The concerts are held in the cities of Astana and Almaty. They are attended by recognized stars of traditional music, classical, jazz from the Land of the Rising Sun and Kazakhstan. Beginning from March 1 the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation will hold a unique show of drummers - the only concert of the world famous music band "Yamato" from Japan. The band was established in Nara Prefecture in 1993 under the direction of Master Masa Ogawa. Yamato is the ancient name of the Japanese state. This word is translated as a great harmony and peace. The band gave a few thousand concerts in 51 countries of the world. People around the world are looking forward to their concerts as the musicians' show is filled with incredible expression, energy and unique flavor of Japanese culture. March 3 Astana Opera Theater will perform "Cio-Cio-San in waiting of spring.." concert. The concert involves famous artists of Kazakhstan and other countries of the world. Recall that the first festival was held in 2011.
