Jibek Joly TV channel starts new season with 3 own-produced TV series
On September 27, the Presidential Center in Astana hosted the opening ceremony of Jibek Joly TV channel’s new season. The new stage of the company’s broadcasting will feature new TV series and projects of its own production. The updated TV program will be devoted to ordinary Kazakhstanis, and will draw attention to various aspects of their lives, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Berik Uali, Advisor and Press Secretary of the President of Kazakhstan, congratulated Jibek Joly on the beginning of the new season. He pointed out that the Kazakh President’s press service closely works with the Presidential TV and Radio Complex, which fully provides information support for all state events with the participation of the Head of State and during his official visits. Berik Uali said he was very pleased with the development of the complex in the person of Jibek Joly, Silk Way TV channels and Kazinform News Agency.
“We all are pleased with numerous projects, reality shows, TV series of the Jibek Joly channel, its project of revival of the 45-year history of Tamasha Satirical Theatre and attention to historical and documentary films. We expect a lot from the creative team, which employs today around 300 people. We expect a lot in the new season,” said Berik Uali.
Director General of Jibek Joly TV channel, Yerkezhan Kuntugan, addressed the attendees at the ceremony.
“This season is special for us, because although we are only 2 years old, we want to say that we are ready for large projects, large formats. We want to present you some of our new projects today," she said.
In the new season, Jibek Joly will delight its viewers with three TV series of its own production, like «111» Juz on Bir which raises domestic violence issues, "Tamasha" biopic about the history of establishment of Kazakhstan’s same name satire theatre, and Darkhan Batyr comedy.
Apart from TV series, the new season features a number of socially important projects, such as 100 Sarbaz patriotic sports show, Taza Qala ecological project, Uade analytical program, Yerkin Sukhbat talk show, Our History documentary project, Zhaksy Adamdarym talk show and many others.
Jibek Joly channel broadcasts 24 hours a day in two versions: national, under the Jibek Joly brand, and international, under the Silk Way brand. Since September 1, 2023, the TV channel has been a part the Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
