Jibek Joly TV channel to broadcast live Supreme Eurasian Economic Council’s session

Jibek Joly TV is set to air live the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council to be held in Saint Petersburg today, on its official YouTube channel, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The session is expected to focus on the following issues: the main areas of the EAEU’s foreign activity for 2025; signing the Agreement on the unified customs transit system of the Union and a third party; enactment of the Free-Trade Agreement between the EAEU and its member states, on one hand, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the other hand; granting Iran with the EAEU observer state status; amendments to the action plan aimed at formation of the common electricity market of the EAEU; harmonization of the EAEU member states’ legislation in the field of financial market;  functioning of the EAEU’s common market of services etc.

Earlier, it was reported that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev would participate in the regular session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
