Jordan delegation to participate in Almaty tourism EXPO

AMMAN. March 17. KAZINFORM /Talgat Baymukhambetov/ - Monday Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Jordan Bulat Sarsenbayev had a meeting with H.E. Maha Khatib, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

At the meeting Kazakhstan diplomat handed over revised draft programs and cooperation plans for 2009-2011 between the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan, the Embassy press service informed Kazinform. The Ambassador emphasized that the two countries presidents had spoken for enhancement of mutual partnership in tourism industry, which was reflected in the protocols of the 2nd and 3rd sessions of the Kazakh-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission. Bulat Sarsenbayev extended H.E. Maha Khatib an invitation for Jordan delegation to take part in the 9th Kitf tourism EXPO in April 2009 in Almaty. In reply Jordan Minister confirmed the interest of the Hashemite Kingdom to strengthen cooperation with Kazakhstan in tourism industry and assured that the presented documents would be studied and taken to decision.
