Jordan invited Kazakhstan to participate in SOFEX-2010 International Military Exhibition

AMMAN. March 20. KAZINFORM /Talgat Baimukhambetov/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Jordan Bulat Sarsenbayev met with this week with Supreme Military Official of the Hashemite Kingdom, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces General Khalid J AL – Sarayreh.

As the press service of the RK Embassy in Jordan reports, B. Sarsenbayev informed the Jordanian General of the outlines of President Nursultan Nazarbayev?s Address to the Nation ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity?, the situation in Kazakhstan, positive changes in the country?s political and economic life as well as the role and place of the Armed Forces in Kazakhstan society. He pointed out the progress in Kazakhstan-Jordan bilateral relations reached over the last years, especially after the Kazakh President?s visit to Amman in 2006 and the return visit of King Abdullah II to Kazakhstan in 2007. The Diplomat highlighted Kazakhstan?s intention to continue and deepen bilateral relations with Jordan in various fields including military and military technical cooperation. General Khalid J AL ? Sarayreh invited Kazakhstan to take part in SOFEX-2010 International Military Exhibition in Jordan and noted prospects of cooperation in mutual exchange of experience and holding seminars and trainings. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordan expressed readiness to visit Kazakhstan in 2009 for activating military and military-technical cooperation between the two states.
