Jordan to participate in 12th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition
Jordan will participate in the 12th edition of the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ), scheduled to take place from February 4 to 8 in Doha. The exhibition is organized by the Qatari Ministry of Municipality, Petra reports.

The exhibition serves as a prominent platform aimed at advancing agricultural production using cutting-edge technologies while promoting sustainable consumption practices for better health and ensuring the sustainability of the agricultural sector. It also addresses the challenges posed by climate change.
This event provides a significant opportunity for agricultural investment, helping to strengthen trade relations and expand international cooperation.
The exhibition will span over 40,000 square meters, with 250 companies from 29 countries participating, underlining the global scope of the event. In addition, 114 local farms from Qatar will be involved.
Key features of the exhibition include specialized markets such as the dates market, honey market, flower market, and crops market, all designed to facilitate direct interaction between producers and consumers. The program also includes several specialized conferences and forums, as well as discussion panels, focused on the latest innovations in agriculture and environmental sustainability.
Earlier it was reported that Jordan's exports to the EU had been up by 0.8% in the first 11 months of 2024.
