Jordanian mass media widely comment on OSCE Summit

ASTANA. November 30. KAZINFORM Jordanian mass media widely covers organization of the OSCE Summit in Astana, Kazakhstan's diplomatic mission in this country informs.

Thus, on November 28, 2010 Jordan Times, a popular Jordanian English-language newspaper, published an article devoted to the OSCE top-level meeting scheduled for December 1-2, 2010 in Astana. In accordance with the article, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Nasser Judeh is expected to participate in the Summit. "The Summit will focus on human, economic-ecological and military-political aspects of security as well as on media freedom, tolerance towards migrants and fight with trafficking in human beings, especially children", the article reads.

The article author cites also an excerpt from the interview of President Nursultan Nazarbayev published in Kazakhstanskaya Pravda daily newspaper as of November 10, 2010. "The OSCE community must show unity and trust - this is exactly what we need to overcome present hardships. In this connection Kazakhstan's chairing strategy aims to encourage the member states to restore accord and mutual confidence - a most important component underpinning joint security formation".
