Jordanian Transport Minister to attend ministerial meeting in Almaty
AMMAN. March 19. KAZINFORM /Talgat Baimukhambetov/ Kazakh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Jordan Bulat Sarsenbayev met with Jordanian Minister of Transport Sahel Majali in order to implement the commission of the Kazakh President and Government and to discuss the issues of bilateral cooperation in the transport sphere; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Embassy in Jordan.
During the meeting the issues of transport cooperation between the two countries were discussed. An opportunity of acceleration of the procedure of domestic coordination of the Agreement on international highroad service signed in Astana on August 8, 2007 and the draft Agreement on aerial service, which was initialed earlier, was considered. The Jordanian Minister told that in the nearest time he will inform the Kazakh side of a state of affairs on these documents.
B.Sarsenbayev informed Sahel Majali of main provisions of the Kazakh President?s Message to the nation ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity?, achievements of the country in the political and economic spheres for years of independence, including development of bilateral relations in recent years.
The Jordanian Transport Minister, in his turn, said that he will use an invitation to visit Kazakhstan for participation in the forthcoming ministerial meeting ?Silk Road: from vision to reality?, which will be held in Almaty on June 11-12, and will have talks with his Kazakh colleague on the issue of further development of transport cooperation between the countries, including railways cooperation.
