K.Saudabayev talked over phone with foreign colleagues

ASTANA. November 28. KAZINFORM OSCE Chairman-in-office, State Secretary - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian on November 27, the press service of the Kazakh foreign Ministry reported.

The interlocutors discussed the preparation process to the coming OSCE Summit in Astana and its agenda. The Heads of the Foreign Ministries emphasized the importance of successful and productive conduction of this top-level meeting, making specific decisions that would define the prospects for further Organization development and contribute to strengthening security and cooperation in the OSCE commitment space.

Later in the day, K.Saudabayev held a telephone conversation with Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Aman Anif initiated by the Malaysian side. D.Aman wished Kazakhstan successful conduction of the OSCE Summit stressing the importance of the first forum in Asia. The sides expressed hope that the coming Kazakhstan's OIC chairmanship in 2011 would promote operation between the OSCE and the OIC, strengthening the dialogue between the East and the West. The Ministers also discussed the issues of the Kazakh-Malaysian relations development.
