Kairat Lama Sharif congratulates Kazakhstan on Orthodox Christmas

ASTANA. January 7. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Religious Affairs Kairat Lama Sharif has congratulated all Christians of Kazakhstan on the Nativity of Christ, the agency's press service says.

"Each year this feast brings the light of hope and strengthens faith, fills the hearts with mercifulness, tolerance and kindness. For centuries millions of Christians have maintained this wonderful tradition turning them to eternal spiritual values. I am confident the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan will continue to do its best to consolidate peace, accord and unity of the nation by propping up moral foundations," the congratulatory telegram reads.
