Karaganda marks Constitution and Miner's Days

AGANDA. August 30. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ -  Today a grandiose procession lead off the celebratory activities on the occasion of the Constitution Day and Miner's Day in Karaganda. Miner's Day is a main holiday of Karaganda which Kazakhstan's main coal producing city and where heavy industry is concetrated.

Twenty thousand people took active part in the procession. Miners formed an impressive separate movement.

Akim of Karaganda Islam Togaybayev greeted the parade and delivered congratulations: "One more time we become convinced that it is the Main Law of country which guarantees public stability and dynamic development of economy. The constitutional reformations carried through under the leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev created a firm fundament of Kazakhstan's model of state administration that never ceases to improve itself."
