Karaganda region: 310 thousand square meters of housing to be built in 2014

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - "During the reporting period 299 thousand square meters of housing, or 2.5 thousand apartments, including 268 apartments for the participants of the "Employment 2020" were introduced in Karaganda region," - akim of the region, Baurjan Abdishev reported about the outcomes of 2013 at the meeting with the Karaganda people.

According to him, this year 310 thousand square meters are to be built, including credit and rental housing for young families and those, who are in the queue.

At the same time, 24,000 regional residents are waiting for their turn, out of them 6000 were registered in 2013 and only 766 were able to get dwelling. It is only 3% of the entire queue.

The program "Affordable Housing 2020" is an integrated solution of this problem. It has a number of ways to help people, one of them - the system of savings through "Zhilstroysberbank."
