Karaganda region attracted KZT 1.5 tn of investments

Karaganda region built a pool of 56 investment projects worth 1.5 trillion tenge of investments, Kazinform Agency reports.

According to governor Yermaganbet Bulekpayev, for the past 10 months the region attracted some 641 billion tenge of capital investments, of which 88% constitute private investments. The pool of 56 investment projects was established, 13,000 jobs were generated. Five projects worth 21 billion tenge were put into service, 385 workplaces were created.

The region plans to launch six more productions up to 104 billion tenge, including a household appliances and tyre plants which will provide 1,916 new jobs.

The governor added 400 ha were developed for future investors in the territory of Sary Arka and Saran industrial zones.
