Karaganda region lacks 200 doctors
KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM "The Karaganda region experiences a shortage of about 200 doctors," head of the internship and graduates' employment department of the Karaganda state medical university Serik Shuakhbayev said at today's career fair held at the university.
"556 students will graduate from the university this year. There are 2,243 graduate vacancies at large. It means each graduate may apply for 4 vacancies and choose the most suitable one. 15-20% of the graduates will go to work at rural healthcare facilities," he added.
