ATYRAU. July 21. KAZINFORM - Part of oil produced in the Atyrau region at Kashagan offshore field will be mixed with oil from the Siberia deposit before sending to the world market.

It is assumed that initially small amounts of Kashagan oil will be transported by "Atyrau-Samara" pipeline. Kazakh oil will be mixed with Siberian oil which has similar properties. In this way, it will be possible to keep a high price for Kazakhstan's raw material delivered to Samara, before sending it to the world market.

NOTE: Pilot oil production at Kashagan field in Atyrau region will begin no later than October the current year, according to Uzakbai Karabalin, Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan, who visited the region last week.
