Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extends condolences to Joe Biden over deadly truck attack

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a letter of condolences to U.S. President Joe Biden over a deadly truck attack in New Orleans, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Akorda press service.

The Kazakh President condemned this heinous act of violence.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev offered deepest condolences on his behalf and on behalf of Kazakhstan to the bereaved families and wished those injured a sooner recovery.

As earlier reported, the death toll rose to 15 after a man drove a pickup truck into New Year revelers in New Orleans of the southern U.S. state of Louisiana early Wednesday morning, authorities updated at a press conference.
