Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrives in Zhetysu region

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is expected to visit a number of industrial and social facilities in the region, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the Akorda.

Earlier this week, the Head of State paid a visit to the Aktobe region where he surveyed a number of industrial enterprises and got familiarized with the day-to-day functioning of social facilities.

President Tokayev made the first stop of his working trip to the Aktobe region in the Bolashak mine and then paid a visit to the Khromtau Mining and Technical College and a local school.

Afterwards, the President heard a report from akim (governor) of the Aktobe region Askhat Shakharov on the socioeconomic development of the region.
