Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attends signing ceremony

The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is taking part in the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Dubai, has attended a ceremony of signing a package of agreements between state bodies and business structures of Kazakhstan and other countries, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.

The following agreements were signed in the presence of the Head of State:

An intergovernmental agreement between Kazakhstan and the UAE on the development of the 1 GW wind farm project;

A memorandum between the Kazakh Energy Ministry, Samruk Kazyna JSC and the Investments Ministry of the UAE on mutual understanding on the development of low-carbon energy in Kazakhstan with a total capacity of 10 GW;

A memorandum on mutual understanding Qazaqstan Investment Corporation and ADQ on strategic partnership;

An Agreement on investments between the Government of Kazakhstan, Aktas Energy and TotalEnergies, etc.
