Kassym-Jomart Tokayev officially welcomed in Paris
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has been officially welcomed by his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron as he begins his state visit to France, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.
President of France Emmanuel Macron greeted Tokayev, as the military orchestra played the national anthems of Kazakhstan and France.
The Heads of State inspected the guard of honor, made up of the military personnel of the Republican Guard, Air and Space, Land and Naval Forces. The guard of honor marched in front of the Presidents to the accompaniment of a military march afterwards.
Following the march, the Presidents introduced the members of their official delegations.
Earlier it was reported that the President of Kazakhstan would pay a state visit to France on November 4-5, where he plans to engage in high-level meetings. The leaders of both countries intend to hold talks focused on strengthening cooperation and discussing the international and regional agenda.
