Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presents bus to Secondary School No1 in Khromtau
As part of his visit to Aktobe region, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has visited Khromtau-based Secondary School No 1, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.
The educational institution participates in a pilot project of development of underfilled rural schools’ potential with the use of digital technologies.
The goal of the project is to improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching process through the introduction of digital solutions in underfilled schools. The teachers exchange their experience in an online mode.
The President attended a demo lesson involving pupils of other rural schools who participated in the lesson online.
Upon completion of the inspection, the Head of State presented the educational institution with a school bus, which will make education more accessible for children living in remote areas.
Earlier, the President visited Khromtau Mining and Technical College.
