Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives President of NOC Gennady Golovkin

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received today President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gennady Golovkin, Kazinform News Agency learned from the press service of Akorda.

The President was informed about the national team’s preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Gennady Golovkin reported to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the NOC sectoral educational projects and international activities, adding that cooperation with the International Olympic Committee, the Olympic Council of Asia and partners from other countries is being strengthened.

The National Olympic Committee attaches special attention to the protection of athletes’ rights, he noted.
