Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visits sports centre in village in Aktobe region

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited a sports centre in Sarzhansai village of Martuk district, as part of his working trip to Aktobe region, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

The facility which covers the area of 1,048 square meters offers numerous out-of-school activities for children and teens.

The President surveyed a freestyle wrestling gym and a futsal hall and talked to young athletes. He pointed out the importance of sport for the development of personality, especially of youth.

He also said that football has a great future, for this reason the government would provide all-round support to this sport.
